RUM captures Core Web Vitals (LCP, INP, CLS) directly from the browsers of your actual visitors, via a lightweight script on your pages. Unlike a synthetic test run from one machine, it shows the real spread of devices, networks, and locations your traffic comes from.

How is RUM different from Lighthouse monitoring?

Lighthouse runs a scheduled lab audit on fixed hardware and a fixed network, good for comparing two versions of your code. RUM measures real visitors on their own devices and connections, which is noisier but is what search engines actually evaluate. PingView runs both side by side.

How many pages and events does RUM cover?

The Professional plan covers up to 10 pages and 500,000 RUM events per day per page. Enterprise covers up to 100 pages and 5,000,000 events per day per page.

How long is raw RUM data kept?
