Scheduled Lighthouse audits

A Lighthouse score is a snapshot. You need the trend.

PingView runs Google Lighthouse against your pages on a schedule, on mobile and desktop, and keeps every score. See what a deploy did to performance instead of guessing.

Why running Lighthouse in DevTools is not enough

One machine, one moment

A local audit measures your laptop, your CPU and your fibre connection at one point in time. It tells you nothing about the page an hour later.

You ship a regression and find out when someone complains.

Nobody re-runs it after the deploy

The audit happens during the redesign, then never again. A third-party script, a new hero image or an unoptimised font quietly rebuilds the problem.

Performance decays release by release with nothing recording it.

No evidence for the client

When a client asks whether the site got faster, a screenshot of a green circle from three months ago is not an answer.

You cannot prove the work you charged for.

Lighthouse on a schedule, with history

The same audit engine Chrome ships, run for you, stored and charted.

Mobile and desktop, every run

Each scan audits desktop at 1920x1080 and mobile at 375x667 with device pixel ratio 2, so a mobile-only regression cannot hide behind a good desktop score.

All four categories tracked

Performance, accessibility, SEO and best practices are captured together. An accessibility fix that costs you performance shows up in the same view.

Score history per monitor

Every completed audit is stored and linked to the monitor, so you can line a score drop up against the day it happened.

Branded PDF export

Export any audit as a PDF carrying your own logo, ready to attach to a monthly report without editing it first.

Why teams run Lighthouse through PingView

Audits run on our infrastructure, so nothing has to be installed in your CI or on the monitored site

Lighthouse monitoring questions

How often does PingView run Lighthouse audits?

Audits run automatically on a recurring schedule, with a minimum interval of 24 hours between scans of the same monitor. Cadence is independent of the result, so a failing audit never turns into a retry loop.

Does it test mobile and desktop separately?

Yes. Every scan runs desktop first at 1920x1080, then mobile at 375x667 with a device pixel ratio of 2. Both results are stored, so you can compare them directly.

Which Lighthouse categories are measured?

Performance, accessibility, SEO and best practices. All four are captured in the same run so trade-offs between them are visible.

How is this different from Real User Monitoring?

Lighthouse is a lab measurement: a controlled, repeatable audit that isolates what your code does. RUM measures what actual visitors experienced on their own devices and connections. PingView offers both, and they answer different questions: Lighthouse tells you what changed, RUM tells you who it hurt.

Which plan includes Lighthouse audits?

Scheduled Lighthouse audits are part of the Professional plan, alongside security header scanning, RUM, synthetic monitoring and visual checks.

How long are audit results kept?

Deep scan results, including Lighthouse audits, are retained for 30 days. Score history for trend charts is kept with the monitor.

Stop measuring performance once and hoping.

Put Lighthouse on a schedule and hand your client the trend, not a screenshot.
