Comparison
StatusCake tests from 43 locations across five continents. PingView tests from 5, all in Europe and the US. This page is about what PingView gives you instead: a status page, synthetic browser tests and RUM bundled into one plan rather than sold as separate add-ons.
Researched and verified on 2026-08-15. We recheck competitor pricing quarterly.
You want a status page on your own domain with no branding fee hidden behind a higher tier, plus Playwright browser tests, visual regression and Real User Monitoring, none of which StatusCake offers today. Invoicing is in PLN from a Polish entity, and the interface is in Polish.
You need to test from outside Europe and the US, especially Asia, Oceania, South America or Africa, or your team already runs on-call through PagerDuty, OpsGenie or VictorOps. StatusCake covers all three today; PingView covers none of them.

Competitor data collected on 2026-08-15 from public pricing and documentation pages. Vendors change plans without notice, so verify current terms before you decide.
PingView includes a custom domain and full white-labelling in the Professional plan (299 PLN/month), the same plan that covers monitoring itself. StatusCake sells status pages as a separate product, and removing their own branding requires the Gold tier at $208.29 per month, on top of whatever you already pay for uptime monitoring.
PingView runs Playwright scenarios through real Chromium sessions, tracks visual regressions against an approved baseline, and collects Real User Monitoring data, all from the Professional plan. We found only a single page-load speed test in StatusCake's product pages: no multi-step browser scenarios, no visual comparison and no RUM.
The WordPress plugin on wordpress.org, plus the PrestaShop and Magento 2 modules, create an account and a monitor straight from the shop admin and then show status and incidents there. StatusCake's product and integration pages list no comparable e-commerce plugin.
Polish interface, prices in PLN, a Polish legal entity for RODO and DPA, and a Polish SMS provider for alerts to Polish numbers. StatusCake prices in USD, GBP and EUR with no PLN option found, and its pricing and product pages show no Polish language version.

StatusCake runs a real global fleet: 43 locations in 30 countries, including Singapore, Tokyo, Sydney, Bangalore, Johannesburg and Sao Paulo. PingView has five fixed probes, all in Europe and the eastern United States, with zero coverage in Asia, Oceania, South America or Africa. This is our weakest point in this comparison, and nothing here changes that.
StatusCake connects to PagerDuty, OpsGenie and VictorOps, confirmed on their integrations page. PingView has none of these, and no escalation policies or on-call schedules either.
StatusCake's Business plan reaches a 30 second interval. PingView's fastest interval, on Professional, is 1 minute.
StatusCake lists 8 monitor types: HTTP, HEAD, TCP, DNS, SMTP, SSH, PING and PUSH. PingView has 4 that actually run; DNS record monitoring is a plan flag with no implementation behind it.
StatusCake's Superior and Business plans include 75 and 400 SMS credits respectively at the base price. PingView sends SMS through SerwerSMS.pl, a Polish provider, but plan pricing does not confirm any included credit allowance.
TrafficCake Limited has run StatusCake under one brand since 2012 and reports over 200,000 users worldwide. PingView is a far younger product without that scale of public history.
You need probes in Asia, Oceania, South America or Africa, your team already runs on-call through PagerDuty, OpsGenie or VictorOps, or you want SMS credits and a 30 second interval bundled into the plan price. StatusCake covers all of that today. PingView does not, and we would rather say so here than have you find out later.

Yes. StatusCake runs 43 locations in 30 countries, including Asia, Oceania, Africa and South America. PingView has 5 probes, all in Europe and the eastern United States.
No. The free plan assigns a server at random, and picking a specific region requires the Superior plan or higher. PingView's free plan assigns one fixed location instead of a random one, though it does not let you choose which.
No. Status pages are a separate product on StatusCake, and removing their branding requires the Gold tier at $208.29 per month, on top of the monitoring plan. PingView includes a custom domain and full white-labelling in the Professional plan, at no extra charge.
Yes, confirmed on their integrations page, alongside VictorOps. PingView has none of these integrations and no on-call scheduling of its own.
We found no public confirmation of either. Its pricing page lists USD, with GBP and EUR mentioned elsewhere. PingView bills in PLN and USD from a Polish entity and issues a downloadable VAT invoice.
A recurring pattern in reviews links the free plan, one randomly assigned server with no location choice, to false downtime alerts not confirmed by other monitoring tools; one reviewer reported over 180 such alerts. That said, the underlying review base on Trustpilot and G2 is very small, so treat this as a weak signal rather than a statistical certainty. Overall support ratings on Capterra are actually good, which suggests the complaints cluster around this one free-plan scenario rather than support quality in general.
Every claim about StatusCake comes from their public pricing page, documentation and help centre, collected on 2026-08-15 and linked below. Every claim about PingView is checked against our own source code rather than our marketing copy, which is why some rows show limits our own landing pages used to overstate. Where a fact could not be confirmed from a primary source, we leave it out instead of guessing.
Disclosure: PingView publishes this page and PingView is one of the two products compared. We have an obvious interest in the outcome, so we list where the other tool is the better choice and link their pricing page so you can check the numbers yourself.
